The Jar Voxels have just been announced and are already taking the NFT space by storm.

Something unique and minimalistic is finally entering the NFT space.

We’re all tired of seeing monkey and dog NFTs in different shapes and forms on our homepage. They all look the same and don’t serve a real purpose to the investors and buyers. They may be a good short-term investment, but the market is overflooded and that’s why I love the Jar Voxels NFT collection; it’s unique!

Disclaimer: I am not sponsored or paid by the collection and this is strictly my opinions and reflections on the project. I love the art and this is my way of contributing to the project’s success.

General info.

The Jar Voxels NFT collection consists of 3,333 code-generated NFTs. Each one is provably unique, and each one has its own unique combination of attributes. There are only 5 rarities to keep it simple (common, uncommon, rare, exotic, and legendary), and just a tad bit over 50 different attributes that allow a total of 300,000 different Jar Voxels to be generated (out of which only 3,333 came to life). The low total supply will make the collection sell out fast while making each Jar Voxel more scarce and desirable to own.

The blockchain in question is Polygon, which allows for lightning-fast transfer times and dirt cheap fees. Minting a Jar Voxel only costs a couple of cents in fees, which makes turning a profit a lot easier and quicker than it would be on other blockchains (*cough* Ethereum).

The Jar Voxels are currently in an unknown state and will remain that way until 6 PM EST on the 20. February 2022, 2 days after the public sale has started. This means that you can’t see what rarity and attributes your Jar Voxel has. This is done to keep people intrigued and continually checking in on the project regularly in anticipation of the reveal.

Why is it unique?

The creators of the collection aren’t out for financial gain and this is what sets them apart from the bunch. Everything is configured for the investors (you) to be able to turn a profit, while the creators won’t really earn much from it. A majority of the funds collected throughout the lifespan of the project will be reinvested back into the community in form of the community wallet, giveaways, charities, and anything else that the holders vote for.

One of the other main stand-out points for the collection is the art and its minimalistic style. The art was created using a combination of code, MagicaVoxel, and Photoshop. This makes the art provably unique and hard to replicate, giving the collection a sense of security and trademark.

What do you get by owning a Jar Voxel?

There is a staggering amount of rewards and utilities you get access to by owning a Jar Voxel, but here are a few of them:

Exclusive community access:

You will receive access to an exclusive holder-only Discord server, with exclusive giveaways of both NFTs and real-life items. You will be able to connect with other holders, trade/buy/sell your Jar Voxels, and help shape the future of the project with your ideas.

Community wallet:

By buying a Jar Voxel you will be contributing to the community wallet, which in turn will benefit you. 15% of initial sales and another 45% (!) of second-hand sale profits will be added to the community wallet. This wallet will be used to buy back Jar Voxels listed under the floor price, for charitable purposes, further development, or whatever else the holders will vote for.

Giveaways and events:

You will be able to participate in the exclusive giveaways listed in the roadmap (including a brand new 2021 Ford Mustang!), and the giveaways and events held in the holder-only Discord server. Examples of events that will be held are gaming tournaments with cash prices, movie nights, as well as a special poker tournament. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to play poker though, as the creator of the collection, Brendy, will be holding a poker class in the Discord server teaching anyone interested.

Priority access to the new mini-game:

Once all 3,333 Jar Voxels have been minted the development of a special play-to-earn mini-game will start. You as a holder will receive priority access to the beta-testing and official release of the game, allowing you to earn money by playing a game using your Jar Voxel(s).

Profit from the ascending floor price:

Every NFT whale and financial advisor I have been in contact with expects the collection to explode due to the amazing holder rewards and the minimalism of the art. This means that the floor price will rise and that all minters will be able to take advantage of this rising price and turn a profit.

The roadmap.

The roadmap is presented in a simple and clear way on the project’s website so I won’t be going into the details here. Check it out by scrolling down here.

Drop date and price.

The collection will be dropping on the following dates:

  • Pre-sale (only for whitelisted users): 6 PM EST 16. February 2022
  • Public sale (for anyone interested): 6 PM EST 18. February 2022

The pre-sale mint price will be only 20 MATIC (~40 USD), while the public sale price will be 30 MATIC (~60 USD). These prices are extremely low and allow anyone interested to enter the NFT space.

That’s it!

I am of course not able to cover every aspect of the collection in a single Medium story (and trust me, there is a lot more to discover), but that’s the beauty of making a story limited in length. Explore the collection on your own and find answers to the exact questions that bother you. I highly recommend joining the Discord server where you will be able to connect with the community and ask your questions. Check out their website, Twitter account, and Opensea collection to follow along on the journey!
